The Auckley Show has been a cornerstone of our community for decades, and its success is entirely down to the dedication of local volunteers. To keep this historic tradition thriving for future generations, we need your help. Whether you have two hours to spare on show day or can help behind the scenes in the months leading up, there is a place for you in our team!

Ways You Can Help

We have roles to suit all interests and abilities. You don't need special skills—just enthusiasm!   

Before the Show

  • Planning & Committee: Join our monthly meetings to help organise the logistics.
  • Promotion: Help us distribute flyers and programmes around the village.
  • Site Set-Up: Assist with marking out pitches and preparing the field in the days before the event.

On Show Day (not necessarily all day!)

  • Welcome Team & Event Marshals: Helping visitors find their way and ensuring safety across the field.
  • Marquee Stewards: Assisting with safety and environment of marquee and guiding visitors.
  • Section Support: Helping out in the Horticulture & Craft tents or around the show supporting project managers.
  • Logistics: Assisting with car parking or general site management.

After the Show

  • Take-Down: Helping us return the field to its original state so we can leave Riverside Park exactly as we found it.
Our 200+ Club

If you aren't able to volunteer your time but still want to support the show’s future, joining our 200+ Club is a fantastic way to help.

The Auckley Show is a non-profit event, and the 200+ Club provides vital year-round funding to help cover the rising costs of equipment, safety, and field hire.

  • How it works: For a small annual subscription, you’ll be entered into a monthly prize draw.
  • Win Cash Prizes: Every month, one lucky members wins £100 and 4 runners-up win smaller prizes
  • Support the Show: All proceeds after prizes go directly toward funding the show’s infrastructure and community activities.
